DuraBT® is Cocan Graphite's meticulously engineered product series, specifically designed to cater to the demanding requirements of lithium-ion battery applications. Lithium-ion batteries, a cornerstone of modern energy storage solutions, consist of critical components including a cathode (positive electrode) composed of metal oxide (lithium, nickel, cobalt, and magnesium), an anode (negative electrode) typically made from carbon graphite material, a liquid organic solvent electrolyte facilitating ion transfer, and an ion-permeable plastic separator.
The graphite used in the anode plays a crucial role in the battery's performance, enabling the reversible intercalation and deintercalation of lithium ions during the charging and discharging cycles. The effectiveness of anode materials is determined by their ability to support rapid lithium ion diffusion, exhibit high ionic and electronic conductivity, undergo minimal structural changes, provide a high capacity for lithium ions, and maintain a stable Solid Electrolyte Interface (SEI) through numerous charge-discharge cycles.
Given the stringent requirements for graphite in lithium-ion batteries, the specifications are exacting, leading to higher costs. Our packaging options are designed to accommodate diverse needs, ranging from 10kgs, 22.5kgs (50lbs), or 25kgs paper bags and paper drums to larger quantities of 500kgs, 900kgs, or 1000kgs in bulk bags, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in supply chain management.
